Was
France subject to a movement comparable to our “Graves Repatriation Act”? I had
not heard of their being such a movement in Europe. Was Law of 6 March 2002,
their response to this pressure? Is this the reason that Saartjie Bartman’s
remains were repatriated to South Africa?
Did Law 6 of March 2002 cause any of the other African’s remains to be
returned to the place in Africa from which they were taken?
